The site facilities include:
A toilet block with showers [ the showers are token operated. Tokens are available from the shop at 25p each, hand basins, hand driers. There is a separate shower and toilet facility for disabled visitors.
Two drying rooms one  with washing machine. There is now a newly created large shower /toilet  in the Ladies so a mother can go in with a couple of children. All the Ladies showers were  refurbished this winter.

Baby bathing and changing facilities are in one drying room which is generally heated.

The Shop
There is a large and very comprehensive shop which is open long hours in the high season and twice a day for several hours in the low season. The shop includes everything that you would expect from a good camp shop, camping goods, general provisions, locally made bread, fresh free range eggs,as much local produce as possible.  [ Please note bread is not always available in the low season] Second hand books and cards made by local artist of the area.Gas exchange and Tourist Information
Freezer block facility. We rent our blocks at 30p per block and £1.00 returnable deposit. Freezer blocks may be limited in the High Season

The Walker's Barn . The is facility is part of the restored and converted Nissen Hut . It contains 3 bunk rooms and will accommodate up to [ maximum ] 9 people. It has 2 toilets, 2 hand basins and 2 showers. The cost is £8.50 per person for each night. Not available for long stay. No smoking and no pets. Note. The Walker's barn facilities are opened in the high season and at busy weekends for extra Ladies facilities from 8.00a.m to 10.00 p.m  £8.50 per person per night. No unaccompanied under 18 years old.   No pet

The Stone Room

This is a recently renovated area which used to be a stone banker room [ where the stone was dressed from the quarry head. It was then used as a pig sty when the site was a small holding.

Now we have turned it into a kind of stone tent, It has a tiled floor, partially rendered walls, partially exposed to the old stone walling.  There is  a futon and simple furniture microwave and electric kettle. It has a private terrace  and table and chairs and water tap. Barbeques can be rented from the shop. No individual toilet facilities but use of the campsite toilet block close by

This will only accommodate up to 2 people sharing and will only be available for short stays. No smoking and no pets. The cost is £25.00 per night for two people.

Quiet behaviour . Complete quiet at night This is the agreement entered into on booking in and those abusing this will be asked to leave at the time.

Dogs on leads at all times. This is an absolute. There are no exceptions.

No open fires. Barbeques are allowed if off the ground and protected.
